
Welcome Note from the Director
The Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), established the Directorate for Research and Innovation to champion its leading role in societal emancipation through encouraging staff and students to embark on meaningful research and innovation that will help bringing about all round development thereby advancing humanity.
The Directorate is guided by pursuing defined objectives that will promote all facets of research that benefit teaching and learning, the community and both the private and public sectors of Nigeria and beyond.
Push for the intellectual development of students and researchers, for them to be able to synthesize by acting in a seriously thoughtful substantiated/responsible, creative and challenge-solving way.
Promote the development of a research culture by supporting staff and students in stimulating research and in so doing effect a scientifically distinguished research environment.
Create an enabling environment to promote research and innovation; engage in co-operation with trade and industry with regard to research and co-operative projects and provide required research related services and liaison at local, national and international levels.
The Directorate also serves as the repository of database on research publications and innovations by staff and students and to disseminate such useful information for the benefit of all.
