PROVISION OF BROADBAND INFRASTRUCTURE:
-PAAU EXPRESSES APPRECIATON TO THE MINISTER OF COMMUNICATIONS AND DIGITAL ECONOMY: PROFESSOR ISA ALI IBRAHIM (PANTAMI)
The Vice Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, Professor Marietu Ohunene Tenuche on behalf of the University Governing Council, University Management, Staff and students has expressed unreserved gratitude to the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami) PhD, FCIIS, FNCS, FBCS, for selecting PAAU for the provision of broadband infrastructure.

The Vice-Chancellor who gave the good news at the 289th Meeting of the University Management Committee expressed confidence that with the provision of such grand scale broadband infrastructure and internet services, Prince Abubakar Audu is poised and positioned to produce cutting-edge researches, scholarly works and contribute positively to the digital economy of the Nigerian Nation in particular and Africa at large.
Commenting on the choice of PAAU as one of the 20 Tertiary institutions to benefit from the provision of the Broadband Infrastructure, the Student Union President: Mr. David Monday and the NAKOSS President, Sani A. Adijat have expressed collective gratitude to the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami) PhD, FCIIS, FNCS, FBCS.
Sequel to the welter of gratitude was the reception of a letter from the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a visit by members of the implementation committee to Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba. According to the leader of the implementation team, Alhaji Mansur Tahir who doubles as the MD of International Equipment Supply Corporations, the intervention is part of the Federal Government effort to provide digital economy education to the nation through provision of broadband infrastructures to Tertiary institutions and Higher-level Institutions across the country.
